By Nick Bonham, The Pueblo Chieftain, Colo. Nov. 29--Nancy Artus loves looking inside people, inspecting their veins, arteries, stomachs and even the brains of developing fetuses. Artus doesn't possess superhero-like powers.
Pierre D. Scoby sees his GED as the first step on the path he should have taken four years ago. Scoby, 20, earned his GED in September after joining a preparation program offered by Shreve Memorial Library's Wallette branch in Shreveport. He plans to take the American College Test in December and enroll in LSUS in January.
